Frequently Asked Questions

Safety is always a question with inflatable games, especially recently on the news.  Party Time strives for safety on all of their units.  You can be sure that every inflatable is properly secured to the ground with either stakes and tethers or on hard surfaces such as pavement or gym floors with sand buckets.  To ensure the safety at your event, please be sure to let us know what type of surface you want the inflatables on.  Proper supervison of the inflatables is alway required whether it is by a hired employee of Party Time, or the leasee.

1)  If I rent an inflatable, do I pick it up?

Party Time offers free delivery, set-up and tear down of all our great inflatables (within 25 miles of St. Cloud).  This way, the set-up and tear down of your event is done properly to ensure safety and without the hassle of loading a 300 pound inflatable into the back of Mom's station wagon!  We deliver anywhere, just ask us!

2)  Do I supply the electricity and extension cords?

Yes, you provide the power, Party Time brings the extension cords, once again to ensure safety.  Each inflatable blower requires a standard 110 volt outlet and draws approximatley 9 amps of electricity.

If power is an issue at your event, let us know...we offer a generator and 220 volt power box at no additional charge!

3)  What type of surface can the inflatable be set up on?

Grass is always the best choice to ensure safety for the users, and to minimize wear and tear on the inflatable.  Party Time does secure all inflatables to the ground with steel stakes to prevent the games from blowing away...even the slightest wind can make things interesting.

We prefer that when you rent from us, please make us aware of the surface that you have.  If you cut the grass before an event, please clean up the clippings so that they stay out of the games, and clear the surface of any sharp objects.  Our inflatables can also be set up indoors.  Party Time has had inflatables in gymnasiums, hockey rinks (ice removed) and even in a church!

4)  Does Party Time Inflatables have insurance?

Yes we do.  Party Time is covered by an injury liability blanket ($1 million) with Huntington Insurance out of Indianapolis IN.  If you need a certificate of liability for your event, please ask...we can provide you with one.

5)  Can the inflatables be used in the rain?

It sounds like fun, but unfortunatley, they become very unsafe in inclimate weather. Cold weather is fine, and breezy days are o.k. too.  But rain and snow are enemies to the games.  If your event gets rained out, we do offer rain checks.  If the customer chooses to still have the event even if rain is in a forecast (which we do not recommend) then customer will pay full amount of the bill.

Inclement Weather Policy

Cancellation due to existing rain prior to Party Time delivering or setting up rented equipment will result in a full refund of any deposit made. Party Time, at its discretion, may at anytime cancel the rental of equipment should weather conditions become unsafe for the equipment and/or it’s participants. Cancellation once the equipment has been set up will result in no refunds.

6) How long does a rental last?

Unlike other rental companies that limit you to 4 hours of use, Party Time Inflatables lets you keep it for a long time.  If you want an inflatable from 8 AM until 10 PM, that is no problem...our price is good for all day and night!

7) How do I make a reservation?

Once you are ready to make your choice for the best party in the history of the universe, call or email PTI with your event date, times, event address and other information.  Once your event is booked, PTI sends out a contract.  That is your confirmation for the event, no need to call to confirm.  Please be aware that reservations are filling fast, and some inflatables may not be available for the date you want.  Having PTI "pencil in" your upcoming event does not mean that you are reserved...we require to have a contract filled out...that way we wount lose a customer while others are "penciled in".  Make sure that your event gets reserved with an official contract.

Party Time does not allow double bookings, that way our customers can enjoy what they ordered for the entire day.

8) Supervision of equipment

The Lessee shall be in charge of operating the unit(s) rented from Party Time Inflatables (Lessor) and is fully responsible for the operation of the unit(s) after receiving it from Lessor, unless the rented item lists an attendant from Party Time Inflatables. Party Time Inflatables has operators available for an additional fee that must be arranged with us at the time of making the reservation. Electricity is the responsibility of the lessee unless other arrangements have been made with Party Time by also reserving a generator.

9)  Are we responsible for the unit if it gets a tear or damaged in any way?

Yes and no.  You are not responsible for normal wear and tear on our units.  Seams may develop tears in high traffic areas over a period of time.  If this happens please alert us at once so we can remedy the situation.  If however, damage occurs due to failure to follow our safety rules or negligence (i.e. not turning off the blower in high winds) you will be responsible for all damages up to and including replacement of the unit/blower etc which can cost thousands of dollars.  We don´t want you or us to be in that situation which is why we have you sign and initial on all of our safety rules so that you can be the trained operator.
